    CrossFit 88 is a truly outstanding fitness community. The coaches are very knowledgeable and supportive, and they focus heavily on teaching proper technique. The athletes come from all walks of life and are at all different fitness levels – CF88 has various programs depending on each individual’s needs/goals, and every workout can be tailored to your particular ability level. Everyone gets a great workout that’s just right for them, and the progress you’ll see in your fitness level is amazing. This is a real community where everyone pushes and supports each other to be their best! So grateful I found CF88!!

    I’ve been a member at 4 different “gyms” before, and there’s nothing like the experience you get at CrossFit 88. I’ve been a member here for over 2 years.

    It’s always a clean and well-kept facility. Coaches take the time to explain every movement and give individuals attention they need to improve and achieve their fitness goals. Movements and workouts can be “prescribed” but can always be modified according to current level of experience/comfort level.

    Workouts are rarely ever the same, so there’s always a new challenge! Online program WODify is used to sign up for classes, list workouts, track progress and process payments, so it’s very convenient for the typical busy bee. Daily workouts tailored for both “fitness” and “performance” athletes, always keeping in mind that every athlete has different goals.

    Most of all, the community is spectacular. All the people I meet are kind and inspirational.

    First of all, I would like to clear up one of the big misgivings about CrossFit. You don’t have to be in peak fitness to start this. It has two modes of workouts in every session – fitness and performance. All the scary images that you have in your head about CrossFit people are the ones who are doing exercises in performance mode. “Fitness” mode is like any other gym workout.

    Where CrossFit fitness-mode workouts differ from other gym workouts is how it emphasizes following correct techniques and trying to keep improving on your abilities instead of comparing yourself to some Hollywood hulk. You can progress at your own pace. The coaches are friendly and will keep pushing you to achieve your personal goals.

    I had tried different gyms over the past 10 years. None of the regimens stuck with me. But just after four months of fitness-mode exercises, I see a marked improvement in my abilities and energy levels. I look forward to going to the gym and seeing if I can survive yet another different workout.
